I then moved to New York where I freelanced for British Newspapers and Magazines. I now freelance in the North West of England based in the Lake District.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor before going on stage to wow the crowds at Cartmel Racecourse. PICTURES by MILTON HAWORTH. 28TH JUNE 2019. Notes: I was covering the Cliff Richard Concert at Cartmel. One of the support acts was the lovely Sophie Ellis Bextor who was so relaxed she invited me up onstage with her before she went on. As we chatted at the top of the stairs she just looked back to the dressing rooms. I quickly lifted my camera and captured this shot. It all came together in an instant, the light, the look, the breeze blowing her hair slightly and the crowds waiting to see her. I wish all rock stars and performers were as nice as Sophie.
