Freelance Photographer - Live Music, entertainment and events
I studied photography in Italy in the 1990s, together with a Uni course in journalism at Rome La Sapienza. I then worked at a political party Press Office in the Italian Parliament before moving to London, where I started covering live music for Italian websites in my spare time. After some travelling and underwater photography, I came back to London in 2009 working as a photographer full time including portraits, tutoring and again live music and entertainment news, this time for UK media and artists. I worked extensively with the Libertines and Peter Doherty between 2015 and 2022, when I joined online agency Alamy and I was shortly welcomed in their Live News team. Currently music and entertainment live news represent the majority of my activity, and my work has been featured in several newspapers and magazines in the UK and abroad (the Telegraph, The Times, Rolling Stone, Mojo, NME, the Guardian amongst others).
