Richard Washbrooke

I have a diverse portfolio of sports, dance, theatre, architecture, events, portrait and wedding photography. One of the most important moments of my career is photographing the Paralympics for the GB team, where I enjoyed photographing the range of competitive sports. The highlight of the games was having one of my images of Ellie Simmonds selected to be published as a commemorative Royal Mail Stamp, in celebration of the London 2012 Paralympics. With a background of motor sports photography, Motor GP, BTCC, Touring Cars, F1 testing, BTCS and the Britcar 24 hour race at Silverstone, I covered the FIA-WEC series 2014 which took me round the World.
