    May 1, 2017 Paris - Less than one week before the election May Day labor demonstration. Protesters clashed with police throwing rocks and molotov cocktails; officers responded with tear gas, concussion grenades and plastic baton rounds. Five CRS (riot police) officers were wounded in the clashes, according to the Paris police prefecture. Reports of numbers of protesters injured have yet be reported. Phot credit Guilhem Baker.
